Dark Souls III (ダ ー ク ソ III Dāku Sōru Surī ? ) Là một trò chơi video nhập vai hành động được phát triển bởi From Software . Nó được chính thức công bố vào ngày 15 tháng 6 năm 2015 tại E3 . Trò chơi được phát hành cho Microsoft Windows , PlayStation 4 và Xbox One vào ngày 24 tháng 3 năm 2016 tại Nhật Bản, với phiên bản phát hành trên toàn thế giới dự kiến ​​vào ngày 12 tháng 4 cùng năm. Một mã được trao cho những người dùng đã đặt hàng trước trò chơi để chơi Dark Souls trên Xbox One.

Lấy bối cảnh ở Vương quốc Lothric , người chơi có nhiệm vụ sống sót sau ngày tận thế sắp tới do cuộc xung đột đang diễn ra giữa thời đại lửa và những người mang nhãn hiệu Dark Sign như với các lần lặp trước của bộ truyện. Người chơi có thể phân bổ lại các điểm chỉ số cũng như cấu hình lại việc tạo nhân vật tại ngọn lửa Bedchamber của Rosaria trong Nhà thờ sâu thẳm tới năm lần cho mỗi lần chơi.

Sau khi người chơi kết thúc trò chơi, họ có lựa chọn bắt đầu một trò chơi mới ngay lập tức hoặc sau đó thông qua ngọn lửa trong Đền Firelink . Game Plus mới là tùy chọn. Người chơi sẽ giữ lại tất cả các thiết bị, game danh bai ,thuộc tính nhân vật được nâng cấp và vật phẩm ngoại trừ các phím. Độ khó của trò chơi được tăng lên sau mỗi lần chơi tiếp theo lên đến NG + 7.
